Project Overview

UNITE and fight for the rights of wacky Inflatables everywhere by causing destructive mayhem through a campaign of protests staged across the nation. Flop and Flail together in a memorable righteous rampage.

INFLAMED is the winner of the Georgia Game Developer Association's 2024 "Best in Georgia" competition. Initially developed during the 48 hour Global Game Jam, Inflamed underwent an additional month of development to produce the BiG Submission demo downloadable for free now!

My Role

Tech Art

  • Analyzed the chosen game concept to determine where procedural modeling could be utilized in order to streamline development time and alleviate the workload for our art team

  • Created procedural tools in Houdini for buildings as well as gas station props based on the desired poly-counts and aesthetics outlined by the art lead that could be utilized and manipulated by the team

  • Assisted in optimizing our game

Team Management

  • Served as point of contact between the Georgia Game Developers Association and the team

  • Led meetings between the team and advisors

  • Scheduled weekly meetings between the team and our GGDA mentor

  • Assisted in keeping track of current tasks

  • Communicated upcoming deadlines and events to team

The purpose of the building tool was to allow the artists to quickly produce a variety of low-poly buildings for the background of our level.

In order to achieve this, I created an hda that allowed artists to edit a multitude of aspects such as the number of floors and windows, their dimensions, and roof height.
